today my girls are off school, while I have to work, which is always terribly annoying for all of us. But at least the weather is nice, so they can play outside.
Last night I created a little last minute mini project for my sister-in-law, who needed small pieces of card stock, half the size of a (German) card front.
I wanted to give her a little box to go with them, so I created this little envelope box from water colour paper and heat embossed the bird in the corner. Then I coloured it in with my Inktense pencils and a lot of water and created just a bit of sky and ground.
As a finishing touch I added glossy accents to the eyes to make them shiny.

DeleteSo this was the "original" bird. I can't say which I like more. Both of them are great. Great idea to decorate the box, I am sure she love it!
